Title: Waterfall moves in jerks
Post by: R3MAV on 01 Feb 2026, 10:05
I can't figure out why the waterfall moves in jerks. Will transmitting data through FIFO instead of stdout help?

Have you made any adjustments based on this document?

I do see what you mean as your waterfall seems to move in steps > 1.

Why do you use STDIN for just 5Mhz? You can let Soapy handle it.
Are you using the GPU for acceleration?

I'm using the RX888 receiver, so I won't be able to use Soapy. Am I wrong?
I noticed that the waterfall jumps noticeably in Safari. In other browsers, there's no noticeable effect.
There is a GPU accelerator, but it is not used.
